Job Description: Savan Group is looking for an on-site Project Manager overseeing a small team of analysts and subject matter experts executing a 3-year information management program required by presidential executive order. Successful candidates must have consulting experience working within a Federal Government setting. Responsibilities include managing scope, resources, schedule to ensure successful completion of high-quality deliverables. Additional responsibilities include participating in the review and analysis of information systems across the enterprise to assess impact of executive order. The Project Manager will also review and participate in the development of additional deliverables that include training, policy, and procedures.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent and 10+ year’s professional experience.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience as project manager
  • Excellent written and communication skills
  • Strong technical background
  • Project Manager Professional (PMP) certification
  • Able to take leadership and ownership with minimal supervision.
  • Experience performing system analysis

Database Developer

Successful candidates will have experience with multiple relational database technologies (DB2, SQL Server, and Oracle); expertise in writing SQL, stored procedures, and views; developing test data, and understanding of the software development lifecycle.

Job Description: Savan Group is looking for an on-site Systems Analyst to be a key member of a small team executing a 3-year information management program required by presidential executive order. Responsibilities include review and analysis of all information systems across the enterprise to assess impact of executive order; assist in identifying system changes to achieve compliance; and monitor progress of system changes. The System Analyst will also participate in the development of additional deliverables that include training, policy, and procedures. The position requires establishing a tracking system to monitor and track corrective actions to closure and ensure overall agency compliance.

Business Analyst

Savan Group is looking for an energetic, communicative, and detail-oriented business analyst to join our Information Technology Management and Governance (ITGM) Practice group. The successful candidate will develop visually compelling, in-depth communications for internal and external audiences and lead tasks that involve coordination between various team members. This position is part of a larger team focusing on new Enterprise Content Management technologies that enable the next generation of E-Records Management supporting multiple devices. As such, the candidate will provide general consulting support across all task areas as required. The successful candidate’s core responsibilities will include, but not to be limited to the following:

  • Writing clearly and concisely for a variety of audiences
  • Leading the writing and publishing of high-quality help content, user guides and training materials
  • Managing the development and publishing of presentations and project materials
  • Collaborating with business users and experts, and building strong relationships with stakeholders
  • Identifying user needs, use cases and metrics to focus priorities
  • Create and maintain process flows in Visio
  • Assisting in drafting policy documents and associated business processes
  • Monitoring discussions and questions to identify any answers that require documentation
  • Supporting the project team through note-taking, action-item tracking, and other project management tasks

Minimum qualifications: BA/BS degree in English, Journalism, Political Science, Business, Computer Science, a related field or equivalent practical experience.

3+ years of internship or professional experience writing in a business and/or management consulting environment, supporting project timelines, preparing presentations, and/or other communications products.

Microsoft Word, Visio, and experience in preparing PowerPoint presentations.

Ability to multi-task during a fast-paced implementation period on a Federal consulting project.

Associate:

Associates joining Savan Group typically have at least 4-7 years of consulting or highly relevant experience, or enter after completing an MBA or other graduate degree. Associate job responsibilities include the following:

  • Manage projects and interface with clients
  • Manage technical/functional content, budgets and staff resources
  • Perform detailed data and business process analysis
  • Prepare and deliver presentations to client senior management
  • Research, conduct creative analysis, synthesize, and report on business issues
  • Facilitate and/or participate in client meetings and working sessions
  • Support clients in all aspects of their key business transactions
  • Assess vendor management across clients’ enterprises within specific functional areas
  • Participate in proposal writing, negotiate contracts, and manage implementation of new services within the firm
  • Perform project portfolio management and IT governance assessments
  • Assist the program management of critical IT transformation initiative
  • Develop operational and technical implementation plans

Manager:
